Nissan Skyline interior flocked

The first job was to remove all factory seam sealer from the area's to be flocked, hoover out. Key the paintwork, hoover, clean interior.

Prep clean and degrease the inside of the Skyline and the A,B,C, pillars.

 

Picture on the right shows the C pillar with an Ali plate fitted and Ali tape covering the smaller holes.

Then templates were made for the rear quarter panels we then made new panels from aluminum sheet.

 

The new panels were fitted using countersunk pop rivets.

After the rear quarter panel was fitted we rubbed out any working marks using an orbital sander.

 

Then we ali taped all the holes apart from the holes in the floor and the roll cage holes.

This is a job for someone with patients it took a lot of tweaking to make the door cards fit.

Here we are seam sealing the firewall and the new panels, then we ali taped the holes in the floor.

Here you can see we are spraying the inside of the car and roof ready for flocking.
